WAVE POOL is one person, Gabriel Clement. However, when you work with me you also work with the entire community of filmmakers, spanning Portland and beyond, that have supported me and been part of my journey.

Every time I step on set I draw on the experience and knowledge shared with me by some of the best cinematographers, gaffers, camera assistants, grips, and photographers. I’ve encountered these people on the biggest TV productions as well as small, scrappy sets where limited resources pushed us to do more with less.

My approach reflects this, meaning it’s holistic and focuses on how every aspect of creation must be given the proper attention and preparation to enable to it all to come together in the end. I believe film and photography thrive on collaboration. Sometimes there’s no substitute for the right person, and I won’t hesitate to assemble a team of experts to meet your project’s needs, given the need and opportunity.

This is a community that sincerely loves to help people express their personal and brand stories, and maybe add a piece of our own along the way.
